About Africa Safi
Africa Safi is a health and consumer products social enterprise operating under Vaah Enterprise, a diversified enterprise committed to innovation, business development, and community impact.
Our Background
The foundation of Vaah Enterprise dates back to 2016, during campus life, when a small goat rearing project was started using a living allowance provided by the Government of Uganda. What began as a survival initiative gradually developed into a long-term business vision.
In 2018, Vaah Enterprise was selected among 17 beneficiaries from West Nile under the ENABLE Youth Program, funded by the African Development Bank. Through this program, the enterprise received funding of and underwent six months of incubation training, strengthening both its structure and operations
Enterprise Growth
Following this support, Vaah Enterprise expanded into several areas:
- Peanut processing and value addition
- General merchandise trading
- Coffee processing and supply
These activities laid a strong foundation for diversification and growth across multiple business lines.
Birth of Africa Safi
As part of this expansion, Africa Safi was established as a specialized brand under Vaah Enterprise, focusing on everyday consumer products that improve health, hygiene, and quality of life.
In 2023, Africa Safi introduced the production of multipurpose liquid soap and expanded into a wider product range across multiple categories.
